In 2022, we had 2 gallery exhibitions; one in March and the other in October. Both events were held at Inala Art Gallery in Queensland. There were more student participation for the first one, however, due to the floods around that time, there were not many visitors as we hoped. It was a struggle for me at the time to whether or not to follow through holding the exhibition. I finally decided to go ahead and do it. Definitely worth while and learned a lot about the process of setting up and being organized in a short period of time.
In October we were a bit organized than last and improve on the presentation of our work, but unfortunately not many student participated in displaying their work due to other commitments or family matters. I managed to push out some more scroll paintings to fill up the gallery. Sue who have been painting in my class for quite some time, helped out quite a bit in looking after the gallery. Overall it was a good experience learning a lot to run an exhibition and good encouragement for the participants.
